He was in GATE since elementary school, was accelerated in academics, and played middle infield for the high school baseball team as well as for AAU travel and local leagues and was also a WPIAL qualifying swimmer. He was active in his church youth group throughout his life. After graduation, he attended Saint Vincent College on an academic scholarship as a Biology/Pre-med major where he also played baseball. He had planned to go on to medical school and specialize in sports medicine. He passed in a tragic accident on June 14, 2017; just 19 days after his 19th birthday. Gregory was well known for his kindness and dynamic personality. His family would like to honor his memory by assisting a student who exemplifies the same outstanding character, academic, and athletic qualities as Gregory so his light may shine forever.
